2026 Update!

I am delighted to say that I have had 2 new board/picture books published in 2025! Both by the wonderful Jellycat company, to go with their adorable plush cuddly toys.

The first is a board book - Smudge Rabbit and the Falling Star. Smudge Rabbit is lonely and longs for a friend. And when he sees a falling star and wishes on it that a star would come to Earth to be his friend - Plink! Plonk! Plink! one does! Smudge is overjoyed. He hugs it and talks softly to it, but the star has lost its light. Is it unhappy? Smudge tries to make it feel at home, but nothing will make his little star glow. And then something strange starts happening... has Smudge's starry wish come true in a quite unexpected way?

The second is a picture book featuring Sacha the snow tiger cub

Sacha and the Most Wonderful Thing is about Sacha the little Snow Tiger cub enjoying her very first winter. Mummy has told her that the Most Wonderful Thing is coming very soon. Sacha can't wait to see it, so  she goes looking for it. Surely it must be the pretty snow-flakes?! Or the snow tiger just like her she sees in the lake?! Or the beautiful sparkly starry night sky?! But her mummy tells her it isn't any of those things. What can possibly be more wonderful than them? And then, the next morning, Sacha wakes up to find a big surprise waiting for her - and it really is the most truly wonderful thing!
